Oldest Facebook fan is gran,103 years old

    Lillian Lowe browses her latest apps on her iPad yesterday (15 Dec 2010)- at the grand old age of 103.

The surfing centenarian uses the gadget to log on to Facebook - and keep in touch with her seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Lillian, who is also a big fan of The Sun's own app, said: "I love it - it's very exciting. It's a wonderful way of finding out about things.

"I recommend it for any grandparents to keep in touch with family."

The ex-hotelier and businesswoman, who can remember the Titanic sinking in 1912, has 34 Facebook pals.

She also chats often with great-granddaughter Kaylee, ten, and loves seeing her photos and chatting online.
